Skype Button for Joomla

Skype Button for Joomla is a module for Joomla 3, Joomla 4, and Joomla 5 that lets you add a Skype contact button to your website. When visitors click the button, they'll be prompted to start a chat with the Skype username configured in the module settings. The module supports four operating modes:

This mode also offers three color schemes: Light, Dark, and Custom. The Custom design allows you to set colors for all popup elements individually.

4) "Card" Mode — adds a static block to a designated position on your website page. Clicking the card opens a Skype chat with the configured username. The block displays the operator's name, department, and a welcome message. You can choose the visual element: operator photo or a messenger icon with the Skype logo. This mode offers three card styles: Light, Dark, and Custom. The Custom style lets you adjust the color of each element within the card block.

The module automatically displays "Online" or "Offline" status — you only need to specify working hours in the module settings and enable the corresponding options. Additional features help you analyze visitor interactions with the button. The module supports integration with Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica. When enabled, the module sends interaction events to Google Analytics and conversion data to Yandex.Metrica goals.
