Description & Purpose
VK App Widget - a module for CMS Joomla 3, 4, 5 and 6 that helps to add in a few clicks a widget to the site with information about the application or game from the social network VK.
You have a need to display information about your applications or games on the site with a button to go to the social network, then this module is for you. You will not have to store information about your application on your site, all data is received through the public API of the social network VK. Storing information on the side of VK will allow you not to load the database of the site.
The module has only a few options and fields that make publishing a widget as easy as possible. The first option allows you to connect the public API of the VK social network, which is necessary for widgets to work. The next field will require you to enter the application or game identifier assigned in the VK social network. The next option allows you to select the type of information displayed in the widget.

- Card - the widget will display the main image of the application, the name of the application, the placement category, the number of participants in the application and the «Play» button, by clicking on which the visitor will be redirected to the application page in the social network.
- Members - The widget will display the main image of the application, the name of the application, the placement category, the number of participants in the application, photos of participants and the "Play" button.
- Button - this option will simply display a "Play" button, which will direct to the page with the application in the social network VK.
Additional two fields will help to customize the width of the widget and the height of the button. These fields are available only when a certain value is selected in the "View" field. The widget width setting is available for the widget view - members, and the button height for the widget view - button. Module features allow you to publish an unlimited number of widgets with the application using the standard Joomla function - cloning.

Key Module Features
The module generates code for displaying a widget with information about the application based on the public API of the VK social network and supports all features of the application widget API.
- "Card" - the application name, category, logo, number of users who have installed the application and the "Play" button will be displayed.
- "Members"- display the logo, the application name, the category the application belongs to, the number of users who have installed the application and users' avatars.
- "Button" - the widget will only display the "Play" button.
All information and application data are stored on the servers of the VK social network. The data does not overload the database of your website. Application data is obtained directly from the social network via API during site loading.
The design of the widget fully corresponds to the design of the social network VK. The design is universal and will be beautifully embedded under any website design.
The module supports all module features in Joomla 3, Joomla 4, Joomla 5 and Joomla 6. Automatic installation, automatic updates and cloning function of the module occurs in just a few mouse clicks within one site.
Management of the module is so simple that it does not require programming skills. You will need to fill in the ID of the desired application, select the desired widget display option, and all the rest the module will do itself.
