Ticker for Joomla 3, Joomla 4 and Joomla 5
Ticker for Joomla – module for CMS Joomla 3, Joomla 4 and Joomla 5, with which you can add to the site an animated ticker with text, a list of links and a list of images. This module is easy to use and does not require programming skills. All settings in the module: text, links and images, their colors and styles are configured through the admin panel.
The extensive list of available settings makes it possible to configure the ticker design and content in the most convenient way. You can set the background colour, border, internal and external indentation, width and height of the ticker. You can select the ticker movement mode: from right to left, from left to right, from top to bottom and from bottom to top. In addition, it is possible to specify the speed of movement and its stopping when hovering over the ticker with the mouse cursor.
The ticker supports three data options: a text message, a list of links and a list of images. For the text message the following settings are available: text color, text color when the mouse cursor is over it, text style and size, as well as the ability to wrap the message text with a link, so that when you click on the text the necessary link will open.
In the mode of displaying the list of links you can choose the style of display: horizontal and vertical. You can set the indentation between the links. The number of links is not limited, to each link you can individually set: name, address, attribute of link opening, link color, link color when hovering over it with the mouse cursor, text size and style.
The image list display mode supports horizontal and vertical display settings. You can set the width and height of the images, the distance between the images. Like links, you can add an unlimited number of images. The following options are available for each image: image, image name, link and link opening attribute.

Three types of data
The module supports three types of data:
- Message text – a text message will be displayed.
- Links – a list of links will be displayed.
- Images – a list of images will be displayed.
Basic module settings
The module’s main settings allow you to customise the side in which the ticker will move, the speed of its movement, specify the internal and external indents, set the border and background colour.
Notification text settings
First type: Message text
You will be able to enter a text message, adjust the normal text colour and the colour of the text when you hover over it with your mouse cursor. You can enable a link to be available when you click on the notification text. You can change the text size and style of the message.
Link list settings
Second type: List of references
You can choose whether the links are displayed horizontally or vertically and set the distance between the links. An unlimited number of links can be added. Each link can be customised with name, path, opening attribute, link colour, link colour when hovered over, text size and style.
Image list settings
Third type: List of images
List will allow you to design a ticker from a list of images. You will be able to set the indentation between images and the display type, which can be horizontal or vertical. For each image you can: set the image, the name of the image, the link that will open when you click on the image and the link opening attribute.
