Description & Purpose
Call Button for Joomla - module for CMS Joomla 3, Joomla 4 and Joomla 5, which will help to add to the site customizable button with a phone icon, by clicking on which the site visitor will be prompted to make a regular phone call with the phone number specified in the administrative part.
The call is made at the expense of the programs installed on the user's device. For example: on the smartphone of the site visitor will be offered to make a call through a standard mobile operator call. The module is easy and simple to use, does not require advanced knowledge in its installation and configuration.
The module supports four variants of operation:
1) Button mode — adds a simple button to the site, clicking on which you will be offered to make a call to the phone number specified in the module settings. The button can be static or floating.
2) Manager mode — will add a floating button, pressing on which will open a pop-up window with information about the manager. The manager can be given a name, photo and department. The pop-up window has a button “Start chat”, which will open a chat with the phone number specified in the module settings. The text of the button can be changed in the module settings. In the “Manager” mode, three color design options are available: light, dark and custom. The “Custom” design will open additional settings that allow you to customize the color of all elements of the pop-up window.
3) Agents mode — will add a floating button, clicking on which will open a pop-up window with a list of agents. Each agent can be given a name, photo, department and phone number where the manager is available for contact via phone call. In the Agents mode popup window, you can customize the popup title, popup description. The “Agents” mode has three color design options for the pop-up window: light, dark and custom. Custom design will allow you to specify the color for all elements of the pop-up window.
4) Card mode — add a static block to the specified position of the site page. The block will show the operator's name, department and welcome message. You can choose a graphic element: an operator's photo or an icon with the messenger logo. In this mode there are three color variants of the card: light, dark and custom. Custom allows you to customize the color of each element in the card block.
A large list of available settings will make it easy to customize the call button conveniently and stylishly to suit your website design. You can choose the icon of the button, set the size of the button, set the required phone number to which the call will be made, specify the color of the button and the color of the icon. For convenient location you can set the button location: on the right or on the left, set the indentation from the border of the visitor's screen.
You can activate the animation mode on the call button to attract the visitor's attention. There are 4 types of animation available in the module: 3 for the button, 1 for the icon. The button can pulse, jump and move sideways, and the icon can rotate along its Y axis. Each animation can be customized: specify its duration, pulsation length, jump height and movement width.
To prevent your operators from being constantly overloaded with calls outside of working hours, the module allows you to specify the operator status. The operator status shows the availability to receive a call. The module will automatically show the «Online» or «Offline» status. You only need to specify the working hours in the module settings. Enable the appropriate settings. The module will do the rest.
Additional features will help to analyze the interaction of site visitors and buttons. Integration with Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica services is supported by the module. When this feature is enabled, the module will send events to the Google Analytics service. Yandex Metrica will receive data in the targets.

Key Module Features
The extension will help with organizing communication between your site visitors and you through a regular phone call. Install the extension, configure it as you need and receive calls from your site visitors.
There are four types of ringer button available to choose from.
- Button - on the site page will be a simple button. It can be static or floating.
- Manager - there will be a floating button on the site page, clicking on which will open a pop-up window with information about the manager, a welcome message and a «Start chat» button.
- Agents - there will be a floating button on the site page, clicking on which will open a pop-up window with a list of available agents.
- Card - will add a static block with the operator card to the specified location.
A large list of settings is available in the module.You will be able to select the icon on the button, customize the button color, icon color, set the color border of the button, dimensions, indents and add animation.
There are eleven icon options available to choose from in the module: handset phone, landline phone, smartphone, ringing handset phone, button phone, ringing smartphone, button landline phone, landline 2, handset with cord, headset, manager with headset, handset with dots, handset with arrow, handset in circle, handset (help) and handset and buttons. Choose the icon that is more interesting to you.

The module has a system of operator statuses. When this option is enabled, in all modes it will be possible to specify the operator's working hours, which will be tied to the server time. Site visitors will be able to contact you only during working hours. Just specify the working hours, and the module will do the rest for you.
To analyze the interaction of site visitors with the buttons of the module, we implemented the ability to transmit events and goals. The module transmits events to Google Analytics and goals to Yandex Metrics.
The module supports all features of Joomla. Automatic installation, automatic updates and cloning function of the module occurs in just a few mouse clicks within one site.
Management of the module is so simple that it does not require programming skills. You will need to fill in your phone number, configure additional settings, the rest will do for you the extension itself.
