YouTube Button for Joomla

YouTube Button for Joomla - module for CMS Joomla 3, Joomla 4 and Joomla 5, which can be used to add to the site YouTube. By clicking the button, the website visitor will be sent to the YouTube page, the link to which is specified in the module settings. The module is easy to use and does not require advanced knowledge in its installation and configuration.

The module offers four use cases:

Button mode

There will be a simple button on the site, clicking on which will open the YouTube page specified in the module settings. The button can be static or floating.

Card mode

Adds a floating button that, when clicked, opens a popup window with a list of YouTube channels. Each item in the list can be given a title, image, category, and a direct link to access the YouTube channel. In the List mode popup, you can customize the title of the popup, the description of the popup. The «List» mode has three color design options for the popup: light, dark and custom. Custom design will allow you to specify the color to all elements of the popup window.

List mode

Add a static block to the specified position of the site page. The block will show the title, category, image and welcome message. In this mode there are three color options for the card: light, dark and custom. Custom will allow you to customize the color of each element in the card block.

A wide list of available settings will undoubtedly allow you to adjust the YouTube button to the most convenient design of your site. You can set the size of the button, set the required link from the YouTube social network, specify the color of the button and the color of the icon. For convenient location you can set the button location: on the right or on the left, set the indentation from the visitor's screen boundaries.

To attract the visitor's attention on the button, it would be better to set a color border and add animation. The extension has 4 animation options: 3 are applied to the button and one to the icon. The icon animation allows the button to rotate on its Y-axis, and the animations allow the button to pulse, bounce, or move left and right.

If your YouTube channels are regularly broadcasting live, there is an option to specify the status in the module. The module will automatically show the «Online» or «Offline» status. You only need to specify the time in the module settings. Enable the appropriate settings. The module will do the rest.

Additional features will help to analyze the interaction of site visitors and buttons. Integration with Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica services is supported by the module. When this feature is enabled, the module will send events to the Google Analytics service. Yandex Metrica will receive data in the targets.
