VK Article Widget for Joomla
The “VK Article Widget” module for Joomla 3, 4, 5, and 6 lets you add an article widget from VK to your website using only the article ID.
Do you regularly publish articles in your VK community? With the “VK Article Widget” module for Joomla, you can easily add article widgets to your website without copying or transferring content. Just enter the article ID in the module settings, choose a template position, and everything else will be handled automatically.
Description and Purpose
Module «VK Article Widget» – extension for Joomla 3, Joomla 4, Joomla 5 and Joomla 6, which allows you to add a widget to the site in a few clicks, displaying an article from the social network VK. The article can be read in full without going to the social network, the content of the article opens directly on the site.
Did your VK community appear before your website, but you need to display its articles on your site? Then this module is for you. After installing the extension, go to the Modules section, enter the article ID from VK, and choose where to display it. Everything else will be handled automatically by VK’s public API. A neat widget with the article title and a “Read” button will be displayed in the selected location. When the visitor clicks the “Read” button, they will see the full article without being redirected to the social network.

The module generates code to display the article widget using VK public API and supports all features of the VK Article Widget API.
No coding is required to display the widget. Just fill in a single field with the article ID, choose the display position, and the module will handle everything else automatically.
The widget’s design is generated by the VK social network and fully matches its official style. The widget is fully responsive, with its width set to 100% of the parent container.
The widget includes a “Read” button that opens a popup window with the full article text. Reading comfort is enhanced by the option to enable night mode in the popup.
Article data is stored on VK servers, which prevents your website’s database from being overloaded.
The module supports all standard Joomla module management features. Automatic installation, automatic updates, and module cloning are all completed in just a few clicks within a single site.
