The module is designed to add a floating button, clicking on which will open a chat with the specified number through the messenger Viber.
Installing the module
Log in to your site’s control panel.
In the menu of the admin panel, on the left side of the site go to «System»
On the page that opens, in the center, find the section «Install» – «Extensions» and go to it.
You will see a page with an extension installation manager.
Click on the green button, the explorer will open, in which you must select the archive obtained by downloading from IWS.BY for Joomla 4.
After successful installation, a green notification will appear in the Extension Installation Manager.
Configuring the module
Go to the list of installed modules in the admin panel by the path «System» – «Manage» – «Site Modules».
In the list, find the module «IWS.BY Viber Button». Click on it and you will see a page with the available module settings. Consider each field below.
Field «License key»
In this field, enter the license key obtained when downloading the module from the IWS.BY website. Without the key in this field, the module will not be able to access the update server and automatically update.
Field «Phone number»
In the field, enter the phone number that you want to use to communicate in the messenger Viber.
Attention!!! Phone number should be entered without special characters and + sign.
Example phone number: 375441111111
Option «Link opening attribute»
The option is responsible for opening a link in the visitor’s browser. Two options are possible: when you click the button, the link opens in a new window and when you click the button, the link opens in the current browser window.
Field «Button size (pixels)»
The field is responsible for the size of the button: the height and width of the button. It is specified as a number in pixels.
Option «Background Color»
This option specifies the background color of the Viber button. It is specified in HEX format.
Option «Icon color»
This option specifies the color of the icon on the Viber button. Specified in HEX format.
Option «Button location»
The option is responsible for the location of the Viber button relative to the site visitor’s screen. Two options are available: left and right side. The button will be pressed to the bottom of the site.
The next two fields are filled depending on the selected side of the button display.
Field «Right indent»
This field specifies the distance between the button and the right side of the site visitor’s screen. It is specified as a number in pixels.
Field «Left indent»
This field specifies the distance between the button and the left side of the site visitor’s screen. It is specified as a number in pixels.
Field «Bottom indent»
The field specifies the distance between the button and the bottom of the site visitor’s screen. It is specified as a number in pixels.
Field «Layer level (Z-INDEX)»
In the field you need to fill the layer level at which the button will be available in relation to all elements of the site. The analogue of the property in CSS: z-index.
The next settings block sets the border of the Viber button.
Option «Enable the border?»
The option is responsible for activating the border around the button widget. If «Yes» is selected, the border settings will be applied from the settings below.
Field «Border width»
The field is filled with the width of the border. It is specified as a number in pixels. The analogue of the CSS property: border-width.
Option «Border style»
The option is responsible for the style of the border around the button. Four border styles are available: solid, dotted, dots and double line.
Option «Border color»
The option sets the color of the frame around the widget with the Viber button. Specified in HEX format.
The last block of options is responsible for the button animation. Let’s look at each option and each type of animation.
Option «Enable animation?»
This option is responsible for activating the Viber button animation. If «Yes» is selected, the animation from the field below will be applied.
Option «Animation type»
The option is responsible for the type of animation that will be applied to the Viber button. Four animation options are available. Each type is discussed below.

These are all the available settings for the Viber button. Next, you need to activate the module.
Module Activation
The module is activated as usual. To do this, you need to:
1. Select the desired position in the template, where the widget should be displayed in the «Position» option, on the right side of the module settings page.
2. Below will be the «Status» option. Toggle the value in the option to «Published».
3. The final step is to bind the module to the pages on the site.
At the top above the settings on the module page, switch to the «Menu Assignment» tab.
On the open tab, there will be one field «Module Assignment».
Select the pages on which you want the module to be displayed in the module. In the example, «On all pages» is selected – the module will be displayed on all pages, on the selected position.
Click the «Save» button to save all the settings and display the module on your site.
